THE BASH WITH MICK HUCKNALL

I have been credited with introducing Mick Hucknall with "Moneys Too Tight To Mention" Mick frequented The Sandpiper Club where I was resident DJ for 6 yrs 1978-1984 and I taped the Track for Mick and it was subsequently a hit single for Simply Red. Years later in his autobiography he made reference to the fact which was an American import from the Valentine Brothers.
